It is all you need if you are only interested to practice the bidding with random deals.

Its prize is 15 US$

Bridge Bidding Trainer Professional Edition

If, besides, you are interested to study or practice the bidding with deals satisfying conditions on distribution, strength, quality of suits... and to obtain statistics on the conditions you set, then you need the professional edition. With it you can do all the things described in this website..

Its price is 29 US$.

If you already have the license of BBT Basic Edition and want to upgrade to Professional Edition you'll need to pay for the difference.

The demo of Bridge Bidding Trainer Basic Edition has some restrictions:

  1. The number of deals is limited.
  2. You cannot generate new blocks.

The program is then fully functional from that point on.

To DOWNLOAD follow the instructions:

(I you know how to manage with zipped files and setup programs you needn't follow the next steps. Download directly from the blue link below. However, you should know in which folder will BBT finally be instaled since you will often need to read some files in it.)

a.- Create a new folder. You may call it "Provisional ". This will be an auxiliary folder.

b.- Create another new folder. You may call it "Basic Bridge Bidding Trainer 2.0". It will contain the program.

c.- Download BBTB (2880 KB) in the first folder. ("Provisional ") After the download you'll have a self-extracting zipped file named "BBTB" in this folder.

d.- Unzip (double click) "BBTB" in the same folder ("Provisional "). (Use the browse button it will appear to find this folder)

After unzipping you will have some new files in the folder. One of them is a file called "SetUp".

e.- Double click on "Setup" and follow the instructions there but:

In one of the first screens you will be suggested a folder for the program. Use the second folder you created instead ("Basic Bridge Bidding Trainer 2.0")

You will have 3 new files in "Basic Bridge Bidding Trainer 2.0" One of them is the BBT Basic Edition demo program. Double click to run it. Another is a file called "Data" which contains information for the program to run correctly. A third file called "St5unst" is used by Windows if you wish to uninstall the program

You can now delete the first folder ("Provisional "). If you want to install the demo program in another computer, just save the file "BBTB" elsewhere before deleting.
